Here is the first version of an extraordinary tool developed by Joaquín Pérez Marco, under the supervision of Joaquín Ezpeleta Mateo (Computering and Systems Engineering Department of the Superior Polytechnic Center of the University of Zaragoza) and the collaboration of professionals from Alborada Special Education Center, ARASAAC and the Aragonese Center of Technologies for the Education (CATEDU).

The program includes the database of ARASAAC’s pictograms and it allows the simultaneous writing with text and pictograms, thus facilitating the elaboration of materials and the adaptation of texts for people with communicative limitations.

In this first version, the application is translated to English, French, Catalan, Italian, German, Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese both in the general menus and in the pictograms that will be used in the document.

As well as with previous packages, we offer the full package in Colour and Black and White with the new pictograms created by Sergio Palao. The full package as, apart from the latest added pictograms, it includes the changes in the dictionary and in their assignment to the pictograms. As you already know, ARASAAC dictionary of senses is under continuous development adding not only new senses but also modifying the assignment of pictograms to them. 

We continue working on the creation of new pictograms. However, as we mentioned some time before, we are open to your suggestions of new pictograms or of new topics to be developed. Don't hesitate to contact us if you miss any pictogram.
